Laurel received a BFA in painting from Tyler School of Art at Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 2015.  She currently lives and works by the woods in Knoxville, Tennessee with a German Shepherd and a pair of binoculars.

Statement
My drawings and paintings are about inner and outer spaces. I'm drawn to the savageries and subtleties of natural world, and return again and again to the theme of human resonance with wild spaces. I find my work in mythology, in the landscape around me, in music that moves me, in language and storytelling.
